menu opinion

So, I'd like to provide menus for my guests as I think it's a nice touch.  Problem is, I can't afford one for every guest.  In your opinion, should i just put 1 or 2 on an easel on each table for the guests to pass around or should I get one per couple as most people will be coming in a couple?

So, 1 or 2 per table on an easel or 1 per couple?

We're doing two per table, one on either side.

I just printed them on regular paper in 2 columns and will cut them and have them on each plate. They have nice font and a coloured picture and turned out really nice

i was planning on doing one per setting, but i really like the communal idea.  plus that everyone will start talking then, kind of an ice breaker.  thanks for such a great tip ladies!

A friend of ours had their menus attached to the place cards.  The place card was like a normal, standard issue place card, but at the top it was like a scroll tied with a ribbon and when you unrolled it, it was the menu.  She made them herself and I am going to do the same the same thing using cardstock paper.
