Hair/Veil Help!!

Hey ladies, long time lurker here! :)

My current dilemma is matching my hair to my veil. Sounds silly. Basically, I purchased a poof style veil from etsy. It's gorgeous; a little poofier on top than the one in this picture but this is from the same designer.

I love it, but I had planned on wearing my hair down. Every single picture I've seen with a poof/bubble veil, the bride has her hair up, typically lower on the head so the veil can go over a low bun etc. My trial is coming up soon and I don't know what to tell my stylist! Any ideas? I guess I plan on having her style it down and curly/wavy as planned and see how it looks?

That's the best part about a trial, you get to play around with your hair. I would ask if she can curl it first then try on the veil. If you don't like it then continue on with a low key updo if you want to try that. Or if you like your hair down, leave it at that.

I'm not sure how your trial works, but I had to pay for my trial on the basis of how long she spent on it. That being said I didn't want to sit there and waste time (money) doing things with my hair.

A word of advice though...even if you do have to pay for your trial like I did, make her keep doing your hair until it's what you want. Bring a camera to take pictures of the final product too.

When I had my trial, I brought a picture as a sample of what I wanted. My stylist did my hair and it looked nothing like the photo. I was worried but I didn't want to pay for the extra time, so I didn't say anything and I left. On the day of my wedding she did my hair the same as at the trial, only worse. I had my MUA call her friend to come and redo my hair. I paid way too much to have my hair ruined and need to be re-done. It was all ok in the end, but it was totally unnecessary.
