How Much Time in between ceremony & reception?

We will be sending in our contract for Hotel Baker to finazlie our 7.16.11 wedding!!  Now I'm working with the church to finalize our ceremony time.  How much time do you allow in between for piictures?  We are getting married at a Methodist church so I'm guessing the ceremony will be about 30 min?

we are having our ceremony at a catholic church, not sure if we'll have a full mass but our ceremony starts at 3 and the cocktail hour start at 6. Your church may have set times for the ceremony due to other things at the church that day. you will want to have time between the ceremony and reception for pictures. Our church is about 10 min away from our reception.

The less time the better in my opinion.

This! We are having everything in the same place so our guests will go from the ceremony room straight to the reception room and will have drinks for about 45 minutes.
And the whole time, my future husband was in the room...... image image
