Florist $2K and under?

Hi ladies ... I'm putting out a query for a recently engaged friend looking for a florist.

She's looking for florist recommendations who can do BP and reception flowers for $2K and under. It's a city wedding (Little Italy), and I'm not sure how many are in the bridal party.

Anyone, especially married girls, have a name to add to our list?

Thanks bunches!

My vendor is Kloeckner Florists - they were recommended to me by Blue Plate Catering and they are on the preferred list at Cafe Brauer.  Mark was great to work within my budget and I'm convinced that they are so cost competitive because they don't have as high of an overhead as other florists do in the city (their shop is near Midway airport - a hike if you live downtown but completely worth it to me to get savings on the same flowers).

Even my wedding coordinator said that he could not get me a better deal than Kloeckner.  They have some big corporate accounts so I feel very comfortable with them doing our wedding!

I'm using Rosemary's Garden in Tinley Park.  They are doing BP (me, MOH and 2 BM, corsages for 2 godmothers, 2 hostesses, and flowers for groom, best man, 2 GM and 2 ushers,) 2 floral arrangements for the Marian altar, toss bouquet, rose petals for cake table and card table and 10 centerpieces for under 1K.  If you live in the city, it's a bit of a trip to make but Bob (the owner) is very flexible and delivers everything to the venues.  He's a gem!

I'm working with Lynn @ Pollen -- she's the owner and was very flexible with my budget.  Lynn works to find blooms that can be found locally and are in season to help save money -- she also recommends blooms that look like the ones you want but happen to less expensive.  She has some great reviews on Yelp! Chicago if your friend wants to take a peek!

My flowers were A-MAZE-ing....  and were just over 500.00.  I worked with Debbie Donovan who works out of her home as a side job, so there is little to no overhead at all!  My flowers were much more than I thought they would be given my budget.  I didnt have centerpieces so that definately brought the price down.  But she is willing to work with any budget.  Her email is deborah_donovan@hotmail.com  heres my wedding slide show if you want to see pics of the flowers!

Mary at Flowers by Color is so helpful and willing to work with you, given any budget.  Also no overhead since she works out of her home in Oak Lawn.

    I second Gina at GNG.
She is wonderful! She provides great ideas and she is willing to price out what your DIY project would cost her.

I am debating doing my own centerpieces and escort card table piece and she is beng honest and pretty much told me that my DIY route would be cheaper than going thru her.

For the things she is doing she is has given me great ideas and great flowers to chose from! I'm very excited!!!

We're using Tracy who owns Elegant Blooms.  She's also out of her home.  She has amazing BP and reception stuff for under $2000.  She has great ideas and works with your budget.
