Some of you may have known our friend Marta, and those how do I am sure are aware that she passed only two short months ago. Marta's family has gone into substantial debt due to the costs of her hospitalization and funeral. I know that many of you here have expressed an interest in helping out.
Marta had a habit of touching people with her enormous heart. Two of those people, Sonia Roselli and Becky Hill, (Marta's makeup artist and wedding photographer) have been speaking with Marta's family and have been brainstorming on ways to help them with their financial situation. And they have come up with such a "beautiful" idea that I know Marta would have loved. Marta was a computer and fashion junkie (not to mention a true knottie at heart).
Sonia and Becky will hold what they call a social networking party. It will include makeup from Sonia Roselli Estetique and will include a photoshoot from Becky Hill for facebook profiles. I think it is a very cute idea, and very generous of both Sonia and Becky. ALL PROCEEDS will go to Marta's family.
The cost is a donation of $100. This costs of course includes your makeup (on a saturday) and a photoshoot for your proflie pic by Becky Hill. The date is 2-6-10 from 10 am to 4 pm. at Sonia shop Esthetique. Email at
