dress shopping

I am going to look at dresses for the first time on Saturday (so excited!) and I was wondering what I should bring with me since I obviously won't have the undergarments I'll be wearing for the wedding.  I'm just planning on wearing a strapless bra and bringing heels so that I can get an idea of how long the dress will be.  Did anyone bring anything else?

I wore Spanx and some jewelry that I knew I wanted to wear no matter what (my pearl necklace and my diamond earrings). Also bring some hair ties so you can get an idea what it'll look like with your hair up or down.

I would recommend wearing modest undies.  Depending on the place you're going (and how crowded it is) you may mot have a 100% private dressing room (which was the case with me).  I also brought a little notepad to jot down names of designers I liked during the try-on process (so I could go home and look them up online).  Don't forget your camera too == most places will let you take pictures once you found "the one".
