Let's see.....vents? Yeah, I have a vent....about myself!

My invitations aren't done yet and I have no one to blame but myself. I've procrastinated way too long on this. I wanted to get them out in 4 days, but that's not going to happen. Poo!

Another vent, our wedding is in 65 days. What the heck!? I'm running out of time. Where did all of my time go?!? I want some of it back please. Who do I need to talk to about that?

Not a vent but a worry....
I ordered my BM dresses yesterday from Pearl's Place (online) because they were so much more inexpensive then the store. For some reason I'm really worried that through the process I'll get the wrong dresses in the wrong sizes. This is compounded because each girl picked out their own style so the sizes to style is very specific.
I'm sure it will be fine but I hope they come in soon so I can stop worrying!

Ahh 24 more days and so much to do.  I bought jewelry for my bridesmaids at the recommendation of one of them -- her jewelry turned out beautiful for her wedding -- mine...not so much.  I got the taupe pearls...but in between the pearls to hold them in place was little BRIGHT GOLD metal pieces - they just show the silver plating in their website (which looks clear in the pictures).  It looked horrible.  It took 3 weeks for it to arrive, so I did't think I had enough time to exchange them.  I went to the post office yesterday to send them back.  They request that we need to send the package with insurance - fine no problem...except for the fact they are in Canada and the post office only allows insurance with first class - so it went from $5 to send to $25....and on top of that, I think I'm getting charged a 15% restocking fee!  Blah.  I should have just gone with etsy alchemy...getting tons of quotes for jewelry to be made!

Multiple vents for me...the post office returned one of my invites as undeliverable...a month after I sent it!!!

My make-up lady is being a pain to schedule a trial with and we're a month away!!!

And I still don't know if my dad is coming to the wedding...he is acting like a little kid and if he doesn't get his way he threatens not to come...


Also did I mention we are a month away???? So much to do!

On the plus side I think we are going to look at a dog this weekend that we may be getting after the wedding!

Not much of a vent today as much as just trying to get everything at work sorted out as I'm out the next two days.  Oh wait! I DO have a vent.  FI and I have our epics tomorrow with Heather Parker.  I'm excited and a bit nervous, but oh look, what's that on my face?  A ZIT!!!!

I am a student and it is the end of the semester, so my stress level is a 10/10 right now. FI is in a graduate program and gets As. He is brilliant and always excels academically. He took a comprehensive exam in march (essays) and the department failed him. He went to talk to the dept. chair today about the exam and was basically told that his writing was not up to par, even though the dept. chair has given him As in two different classes. If his work was not up to the standards, then why is he doing so well? I feel so badly for him and his department is having a "f*** you" attitude about the whole thing.

I"m praying that the last of my BM, I have 8, will FINALLY order her damn dress already!! Seriously, the store wouldn't put the entire dress order for the girls until ALL 8 ordered. I stressed this to everybody, chose a reasonably affordable designer, and gave everybody more than enough time to go in, get measured and order their dress. Well, my gf has made like 2 appointments already to get fitted in the span of 2 months, and did not show to either. When I texted, emailed, or called, she would not answer any of my messages or calls nor call back. I even ever so kindly wrote her an email about her lack of communication with this whole thing, and if it was a financial thing or any pressure on it, to let me know. No response!! Finally, after blocking my number, I FINALLY got her on the phone!(ridiculous, I know) and she said she had to wait til the end of this month to get paid and that she's been SOOO busy at work and utterly tired when she comes home.(yet she's always on facebook). I offered to pay for the dress in advance and she could pay me when she could, just so she could get the order in on time, and she refused. So i'm PRAYINg and crossing my fingers that she gets this dress. I convinced store owner to put other BMs dress orders in, and not to wait for her. They will take approx. 3.5-4mths and my wedding is in 4.5mths, so I"m hoping it all works out!! I never thought any of my BM would give me drama!
