Bridesmaid dress shopping

I know there have been a lot of reviews of different bridal stores, but I'm finally getting my bridesmaids together to go shopping for dresses and need feedback on experience at  the following stores:

Bella Bridesmaid (on Oak St.)
Eva's Bridal (on Harlem--not Oak Lawn/Orland)
Lily's Bridal  (on Pulaski)

A friend of mine had a very good experience at Bella Bridesmaid a few months ago and ended up getting her bridesmaids dresses from there.  Once I get my act together, that's the first place I'm planning to go look with my girls.

I also had a friend get her dresses there after a great experience.  I got mine at Jcrew, and we had a great experience trying them on at the Mich ave store!

My BMs bought their dresses at Lily's Bridal. They are pretty hands off there.  It is a good thing, because they let you look through the BM dresses without following you around the whole time.  But they also don't provide much help when the girls tried on dresses and needed them pinned to get an idea of the proper size.

Also, one of the BM dresses was mistakenly order in the floor length version, even though my BM brought up the short dress that she had tried on.  They did agree to do the alterations for free, but it was an inconvenience.
