Mary Catome contact information...and freaking out

I'm not sure I spelled her name right....

I need to know if you need your dress before you can make your alterations appointment with Mary.

I'm freaking out b/c my dress was supposed to be at the HOB in Schaumburg in mid December. I called today and was told it wouldn't ship until APRIL! Our wedding is in June and I'm not sure if that's enough time

I'm literally starting to sweat. I know I ordered early, but I wanted to get my dress early and be done with HOB. Now it's biting me in the @ss.

And APRIL??? I would be soooo pissed!!! Why should it take that long? That's ridiculous.  I accidentally stopped at one of their stores, and i've been getting so much crap mail from them, it's insane.  Can you find the dress faster from somewhere else?

I haven't even bought my dress and I already contacted her.  The earlier the better.  GL!

    Sparkette,

Not sure if you still need it, but here is her email catomy@sbcglobal.net

She will be closed Dec 1-Jan 5, but she may be checking her email. My wedding is the day after yours, (and also at the Arboretum!), and she put me in her book in October. Don't worry, I'm sure she can put you in. HTH!

I would definitely call and set up an appointment ASAP, but I think you are going to be fine, unless you need major major alterations done.  I had to have my dress taken in in the hips 8 inches on each side and a little less the whole way up, (lost weight) so pretty much all my beading needed to be redone.  I also had a double french bustle and a hem done.  I had my first fitting about 5 weeks before the wedding and had 3 fittings.  I preferred to have my fittings closer to the wedding date because I was losing weight and wanted a good fit.  Try not to stress too much!

is there anything in writing that says you will have a dress by a certain date? i told my bridal salon my wedding was two months sooner than it is for this reason!
