Decor Question - theWit

Anyone getting married at theWit hotel.  I need help with ideas for the ceremony and reception decor.  The carpet is very modern, trendy, and funky which I love but want ideasto make sure my decor matches.  TIA

Hmm...I've thought OVER and OVER about this, and to be honest, no one pays attention to the carpeting. Half the time, the carpet is dark, with different colored swirls, and they do that so if there are major spills, it doesn't have to be replaced and essentially "blends" in; you know how that goes.

I wouldn't plan your wedding based on how the decor looks, plan it on what you like. I say that after having to take my own advice. my cousin in LA had ice blue carpet brought in for her wedding at the Beverly Hills Hotel (mega bucks) and I'd LOVE to do that but umm...that's just not realistic! LOL.

Wow....I'd love to bring in carpet  but I think that options out for me too.

Does the carpet match your color scheme or haven't you decided on one? If you like the trendiness of the carpet maybe keep the flow going from there and use the color/pattern in the carpet to accent you decor. Otherwise I agree with just do your own thing...no one will notice if the carpet doesn't follow suit.

I've seen theWit's carpeting and the room before it was 100% finished. The carpet is pretty crazy I would suggest making your wedding colors similar to ones of the carpet, since it is crazy bold. Any color theme that doesn't match that carpet would probably look off.
