Bridesmaid dresses/tuxes

Are you girls doing all the same color for bridesmaids dresses?  I saw a dress that I'm thinking about doing it in two colors.  If I did two colors, should I have 2 colors for the groomsmens ties and vests or would it look better if I just the groomsmen with black ties and black vests?  I haven't decided for sure regarding the two different colors bridesmaids dresses but tossing around the idea.  The dresses would all be the same style and length just a different color.

I vote 2 colors for the BM and 1 color for the boys. Also, it reduces the possibility for confusion from the tux rental place. My dad is wearing a black tie/vest and it looks so classic and sophisticated. I love the black on black. If you still want a pop of color, you could do black vest and colored tie, which is what our GM are wearing.

To me, it depends on the colors.  If they're particularly bright jewel tones, I think I'd keep the guys in all black (very classic) and weave in the dress colors through their boutonnieres.  If the ladies are wearing both colors and they're very bright, I wonder if doing vests and ties in the same colors would just be overkill.

This is very much a matter of personal taste, and you should do what looks best to you! For me, less is sometimes more as far as color is concerned.  Too much matchy matchy with the guys sometimes looks to me more like a high school prom than a wedding.  Classic black is a mature look that goes well with any dress and never goes out of style!

I had 3 BM's in orange and 3 BM's in pink. All the groomsmen wore black tuxes with charcoal vests and ties, their bout's matched the BM's dresses.
