Engaged Encounter??

Has anyone gone to the Engaged Encounter weekend for the Rockford Diocese? If so, what can I expect?

    I did it four years ago, but I am pretty sure it is about the same.  If it a lot of speakers, some of them interesting, and some of them a bit boring.  You will do some one on one time with your DH and discuss things you may not think about (finances, family expectations, roles, etc.).  Natural family planning with be discussed as well as the importance of the church in your marriage (obviously).  Lastly, they end with a face to face "confession" or the sacrament of reconciliation.  I at the time was not yet Catholic and was quite uncomfortable with this.  You are not forced to participate, but strongly encouraged.  Overall, it was a good experience for DH and I.
