Help! My mom wants me to find a new reception venue with 3 months to spare!

Okay, so this is my 1st post. And I need help! I just moved to Columbus a year ago and have been trying to plan for my Oct. 09 wedding. My date (so far) is Oct. 17th. I would love to keep the same date. My mom and dad (who live in FL) just visited my reception location and think it SMELLS BAD??? So, I am looking for a great price to entertain about 125 ppl on 10/17. Anyone know any parks or nice smaller venues that are inexpensive that may be avaliable on a short notice? I know I am looking for a miracle here. Oh, and about 95% of all my guests are from out of town. Thanks a million! Lindsey

If you want to stick with a city golf course, I just visited the Raymond Memorial Golf Course (Hilliard) on Tuesday. Stefanie went over everything and answered all of my questions. I would think the price range would be similar to the Mentel Golf Course. I was also impressed with the setup, pricing and professionalism of Tall Timbers (Reynoldsburg). I have found that COSI, the zoo, and Franklin County Conservatory are on the expensive side, but depending on your budget it may be worth it. Lastly, I would suggest not using the Franklin Park Veterans Memorial because it's set up awkwardly and has a smell in some rooms.
