Hi,
I  don't have  a lot of time to shop around that's why i just want to find out what are the most popular salons with decent prices.

    The Crystal Bride in Geneva.

They were awesome and worked in my budget.  I loved my dress and the service was fantastic.

A Joyful Occasion in Naperville. Frida (the owner) knows how to pick the perfect dress for you.  I got a La Sposa dress for $900.  She is fabulous.  And she connected to Mary Catomy, one of the most sought after seamstress' in the area.

I also suggest The Crystal Bride in Geneva, I bought my bridesmaids' dresses there and almost bought my dress there.  They have many dresses in the $700 range.

Priscilla of Boston in Oakbrook Terrace.  Before going there, I went to White Chicago, Belle Vie, Vera Wang, & House of Brides (least favorite of all).  The only place that I found something that I really liked was Vera Wang, and of course it was WAY over budget.  It inspired me to sign up for emails about special events at POB.  The 1st event that they informed me of, I attended & found THE DRESS!!  For 70% off of retail.

A L'Amour in Barrington.  I got other BM dresses there so I knew my dress had to come from there.  They ladies are very nice and helpful.  I did look at Crystal Bride in Geneva.  Very nice people as well.

I bought mine from House of Brides in Schaumburg and totally regretted it. Any of the recommendations above are great. I've heard nothing but good things about those places.

I've been to A L'Amour for MOB dresses and wished I went there. I feel like I missed out on the whole experience going to the bigger, general stores.

We got the BM dresses at Eva's Bridal in Chicago, on Harlem and the service seemed nice too. I knew exactly what I was going for and I had the dress pulled before we got there.

I got mine from Shelly's in West Dundee and thought they were great. Everything they have is under 2K. They get mixed reviews, but I think that is because of their alterations place, I had a great experience and love my Enzoani dress. Reviews in BIO

I got my Enzoani Blue from Bella Bridal in St. Charles.  I LOVE them there.  Way less crazy than Eva's/House of Brides/David's bridal, etc.  And so nice and helpful.  Even after buying the dress, they are still so helpful, nice and responsive.  You hear horror stories sometimes, but I know I don't have to worry about any of that with them.  Mine was a little over 1K but they have many under that too.

Not sure where you are located, but I am in the southern suburbs/ NW Indiana. I went to every place in NW Indiana and Orland Park/95th street areas.  HOB was definitely my least favorite stops.  My favorite shop was Elegance Bridal in Highland, Indiana (right over the border).  After I found my dress though, I called a couple of places for quotes on the dress and ended up getting my dress which was originally $700 in the store I found it, for $440 including taxes.  I bought it at a small shop in La Porte Indiana called Bridal Reflections.
