Reviews on the Grand Geneva in Lake Geneva

Hi!!!

I am getting married at the Grand Geneva next year and was wondering if anyone has had a wedding at the resort or attended an wedding there.  Any feedback would be great!!!

Hi Erin.  I attended a wedding there last July and it was awesome!  (In fact, my fiance and I deemed it the "Best Wedding of the Year").  LOL.   

The ballroom itself was gorgeous (and I remember they didn't do much to the room -- simply because they didn't need to) and I especially liked how guests had a private bathroom.  (There was another wedding going on at the time and they had their own bathroom, too).  The staff was also very attentive  - usually during cockatil hour I'm usually ready to run over servers to find hors doeuvres - I remember they kept approaching me and of course I was happy to oblige since everything was so delicious.  After the reception everyone shuffled over to the bar that was on the property and we stayed there pretty late into the night.  On Sunday they hosted a farewell brunch in a private room and it was lovely.

The hotel rooms were very nice, too and I was especially happy that we arrived early - I was able to soak up some sun by the pool while my fiance shot golf with his friends.
