I am considering using MFS catering and was wondering if anyone else had any thoughts on this particular caterer regarding previous experiences, cost, professionalism..etc?Any other suggestions for other caterers that are reasonably priced?TIA

I don't mean to scare anyone but we heard some rumors that they were going out of business. I really hope its just rumors though.

**mkajving**  Could you tell me where you heard this "rumor" and how accurate it might be.  When you say "I don't mean to scare anyone"... it definetely scares a lot of people, including me.

A friend of mine was told that they were going out of business when she went there to apply for a job not to long ago.I would ask them directly and look over the contract. I'm sorry if I scared you. But i figured better safe than sorry right.

I've been working with Carol for my May 2010 wedding and asked her about this rumor earlier today, actually. She assured me that with many successful years in the business they are not considering closing. She did explain to me that last year they had a ballroom that was not bringing in revenue and they decided to sell the ballroom.  She also explained that a number of brides did get nervous last year b/c they saw the for sale sign at the ball room location. I've been very happy with her assistance and look forward to having them cater my wedding next year!Hope this helps.

I have used MFS for many work events that we needed catered.  Janet was my contact and she was amazing.  So helpful in suggesting ways to tweak menus to fit our budget and she was always very quick to respond.  She never seemed to mind the daily barrage of e-mails I sent her.Food was amazing.  We used their bar stuff too and loved them.  Highly recommend!
