Dress Cleaning

Hi, this was posted a few weeks back, but didn't get much response, thought I would try it again:)

Anyone have any dress cleaning recommendations? I got one quote that is $300, yikes! I don't want to preserve it, just clean it. Any reputable places?

Friday's Say Yes to the Dress scared me about unreputable cleaners! Yikes!

    I didn't catch Friday's Say Yes to the Dress (I have to check the DVR) but it sounds like it will be a good one!  

    I got my dress cleaned at Ann's Cleaners (on Damen at Berteau) in North Center. It was our dry cleaner at the time and I trusted her. I explained that I hadn't worn the dress yet (I bought a sample dress) so she made sure to clean and press the dress twice. She charged me $80 (not sure if this is her standard price or not) to just get it cleaned (not boxed). HTH!
