Invitations

Hello-I'm new to the boards!  I just got engaged during Thanksgiving and we are having a March 20, 2010 wedding!

I'm trying to order my invitations.  How much do invitations typically cost?  125?  (Invites, RSVP, and envelopes?)

Thank you in advance for any help!

Congrats and welcome! All the girls here are very helpful! Invites can range from less than $2 to over $20. It really depends on what you want. ie Pocketfolds, how many cards, what type of printing, etc. I think a good place to look for ideas is Etsy and Wedding Paper Divas. There are a ton of sites, but I like these a lot to get ideas. I am DIYing mine and they will be less than $2 a piece with a pocketfold and 3 insert cards. Good luck planning!

If you are up to DIY, I would recommend checking out the invitations at Target. I purchased 2 boxes of 50 for around $35 each. They inlcude envelopes 50 invites with matching envelopes, 50 inserts and 50 return envelopes.

I bought mine on etsy for about $3 per.  They were more than I wanted to spend, but I am in love with them.

I purchased invitations w/envelopes, STD, reply cards w/envelopes from 123Print.com for $148, total with shipping. And, I was able to mail the flat invitations with reply cards and envelopes using regular postage! I placed the reception information at the bottom of the invitation and everything was quite nice.  I've also heard that VistaPrint is quite reasonable with good quality.
