I'll repost my question from further down the thread but I forgot the subject of interest sometimes lurks on here and I don't want her to get the wrong idea! Sorry! Don't hate me please! :/ Any suggestions for what my mom could wear colorwise if our main colors are light raspberry and champagne? Will any color that doesnt clash be a safe bet? (assuming I can tell? :P) any suggestions? if the Bms wear raspberry, then should she not? TIA for understanding! :)

    I am using the same colors!  I have a feeling it will be hard for my mom to find a dress she likes, so first priority will be to find a dress she feels good in regardless of color.  Colors that I think would look good that come to mind are anything in the champagne/brown family, navy, grey, black, light pink.  Colors that I think might look weird would be cornflower, bright greens, etc.  I don't think she'd want to be the exact same shade of raspberry, but I think it would be fine if she wore other shades of pink.  HTH!

    lo-99 thanks for the suggestions! Do you have any inspiration boards or anything that you're using to plan off of? I just kind of came up with the color combo in my head and would like to see how other brides have used it in their weddings! Thanks again!

    I haven't put anything together yet, but there are several raspberry inspiration boards on the Stylemepretty dot com website.  If you look under the Galleries link, then inspiration boards, starting with the 2/2/09 link and going back, there are about 10 raspberry inspiration boards.  I think I'm also going to incorporate black into the wedding (with the invitations, menu, etc.).  I also like the idea of serving champagne with a couple raspberries in the glass.  I found my raspberry pink bridesmaid dresses at Nordstrom.  They are only $98 too.  I can send you a link if you want.  What is your email?
