Has anyone gone here before?  How was your experience?  Was it for bridesmaids or bridal gowns?   I have an appointment next Monday so I thought I'd ask.

I bought both my dress and the bridesmaid dresses and my experience was great!  The girls are very nice, the owner is a little "different" though. 

Both my dress and bridesmaid dresses came in about a month earlier than anticipated!

I also got my alterations done there and the seamstress is really good!

I got my dress there, check out my reviews in my Married Bio. I'd definitely recommend. I liked that they didn't have anything over 2K and I had a really nice experience

Thanks.  I wasn't sure because I've read some bad reviews online but I also know you can't totally rely on those reviews.

I went there when my friend was looking for a wedding gown and for our bridesmaid dresses. We were not fans..we felt they didn't have much in stock.

I went there with my mom to look and not one employee said hi.  The prices are a little higher and did not find what we were looking for.  And since no one wanted to help us, we walked right out.

I actually got my dress and veil from here.  When I first went in they were so friendly, I found a dress I really liked a wanted to go back so my BM's could see it and take a look at BM dresses.  When I went back the second time as soon as I said this is the dress it was like a B!tch switch went on.  On my first visit they offered 15% off if I bought from them so when I reminded them of that when they rang me up I got attitude from my sales girl.  I also had a custom made veil from them and after 8 months of not hearing anything I called to check the status of it only to be treated rudely by the owner.  Not to mention my Mom fell in love with a dress there and after looking around she purchased the same exact dress at Bella Bridal in St Charles for $350 less!!!
I know people have good and bad experiences everywhere but I have no desire to go back and am having alterations done elsewhere

I worked with both Christina and Jackie to find my dress and bridesmaids gowns. The girls were really nice and because I purchased my gown we got a discount on the bridesmaids dresses.

I'm working on alterations with their seamstress who is wonderful. Also we are using Sandy to create my headpiece and veil.

The only thing we didn't get at Shelley's is my mom's dress because she found it closer to where she lives (don't think Shelley's carried her designer).

I was glad that we scheduled enough time to order, because the bridesmaids dresses took exactly four months. So worth it.

Shelley's was a good fit for us. We knew we wanted to custom order and had done our homework knew the  timeframe to order.

I would recommend Shelley's!
