Artistic-feel Photographer

My wedding is still over a year away. However, I am very interested in booking a photographer soon!

However, I am looking for a more artistic/relaxed feel of pictures (most in black and white).

I don't want to bother with the cheesy standard photographers.

We are thinking of renting a photobooth as well so I don't need one of those backdrop pictures at our wedding.

Budget: Under 3,000

Question...any recommendation for the western /dupage suburbs?

Chuck Liu is who we went with.  I'm an art teacher and had to have someone with an artistic sense of lighting and composition, and he fit the bill.  I'm sure he could do more black and whites for you.  He's based out of Chicago and travels around the country and world.

I would highly recommend John Dart Photography!! When I met with him he has so much energy and would never miss a perfect shot. I know many people that went through him and LOVED HIM. His wife also does floral so you could kill two birds with one stone and get a discount.
