Parks in Hilliard

Hi Ladies! I am getting married in a short 9 days, and I am hoping you can help me! My cerimony is in Columbus, and the reception at the Makoy center in Hilliard. I was hoping some of you could make a suggestion on a park in the Hilliard area that we can stop at to take pictures (hopefully one that doesn't require any permits or paying any fees!). TIA!

Homestead park is in hilliard, on cosgray road near hayden run. its actually a township park not city of hilliard. They have a covered bridge, some fountains etc. I think it is free to use unless you want to rent a shelter house or something? not 100 percent sure about that part. good luck :)

There are some fountains with large bunnies on Avery Road. It is considered Dublin but honestly only 5 minutes from Hilliard. There is also a cute little bridge inside the franklin county fairgrounds...

We just had our reception there a couple weeks ago.  I would take some outside the Makoy Center as well.  The little covered bench thing, the walkway, and the lake are really great for pictures and you cannot really see the school in the background.  Our photographers were able to photoshop anything you could see in the background that was noticeable too.  I bet you could stop at some places right there in Old Hilliard for some good pictures too!

We had a little bit of time between the wedding and reception and took pictures at Homestead.  They turned out awesome.  Let me know if you want to see them for ideas!JLMeadows 613 @ gmail dot com
