Rant- Davids Bridal / wedding party

Alright, I know a lot of your have had good experiences with Davids Bridal, but right now I'm hating them!!!!!In May I registered our bridal party with them. Each girl is to pick out a knee length dress in the truffle color. No two girls are to have the same dress. Simple enough, right? They entered it into the system, and I advised all the girls to check in with the girl at the counter when they went to get their dresses so that they would know which dresses have been purchased so they didn't get the same one. EVERY one who has gone in they've told them wrong. They've told some girls that only one girl has purchased her dress, and they are required to get the same dress. They've told others that two girls have purchased (when 4 had). Today the last of my bridesmaids when into order her dress.... They told her only one other girl had purchased and that she was required to buy the same dress. She knew better, and called me. I told her no, everyone had purchased, and that she needed to get a different dress. The lady at the store seemed to understand when I was on the phone, but apparently she was confused because she sold her the same exact dress as another brides maid!!!Every time there has been confusion I've called, and they act like they're fixing the problem. Now I've got two girls with the same dress, and neither can return theirs! We're a month and 4 days from the wedding.  UGH.

    Have you tried to speak with the manager of the store about the situation. Maybe call the customer service line and let them know how their employees screwed up and ask how they can fix it! Sometimes it works!

    Yep, I've called every time there was a problem. Every time they're very helpful and assure me that the problem is fixed. Their customer service people are very nice, and as were their associates. But the problem just didn't seem to get fixed. On top of that.... I got a call back last night..... Apparently they had spoken to the store who sold my last brides maid the same dress as the other one. And they called to let me know that the reason they sold her that dress was because it was the only one that would work for her..... what? They went on to tell me that she's expecting, and none of their other dresses would fit her. WHAT?? I didn't know anything about her expecting?! But they went on about how, yes she's pregnant and they believed that was the only dress that would work for her so yes they pushed her to that dress. (even though they knew someone else had already purchased that dress)I got off the phone with Davids and immediately called my bridesmaid. She was livid. She JUST found out she was pregnant, and wanted to tell me  herself. She said that while her mother did share it with the girl at Davids, that she is only 6 weeks along, and with our wedding in one month she is not concerned at all about the dress not fitting. The girl at David's made it sound like she had this huge pregnant belly that they couldn't' find anything to fit around! My friend was really upset that they went ahead and told me since she wanted to share the news herself.I know that's not David's fault, but man it did rub me the wrong way.
