Suit Rental?

Hi Ladies,

My wedding is more on the casual side.  FI wants to wear a black suit and have his groomsmen wear gray suits.  I love the idea that they are in different color (FI and I in Black and White, groomsmen in gray and bridesmaids in different shades of blue).  We don't want our groomsmen to have to buy suits.  Do you know if there is anywhere in the city that they can be rented?

We just got back from Formally Modern Tuxedo, and they rent some suits there.  I saw a black one - not sure if they have other colors, but worth checking.

I looked into this. Formally Modern rents suits. It is about $150 or so to rent, and you can actually buy one for that price at places like Jos A Banks. The only downside with renting a suit is that it comes with nothing else. so you need the shirt, tie, shoes, etc. We decided to just get a less formal looking tux because everything is included. They really look almost exactly the same. One other thing to note is there aren't as many choices when it comes to suit rentals.

Thanks for the info. Formally Modern doesn't seem to have gray, but I looked at the Men's Warehouse website.  They have a gray tux that isn't as formal. I think if we get it without the vest, it might look great!  I'll have to go check on pricing though.

I also bought from Jos A Banks, the suits were $125 each (with a buy one get two free sale)  the guys will wear their own white shirt and we will provide them with ties.
