My bridesmaids Dresses

So I was having an issue w/the choice of dress my bridesmaids picked.  So I told them I was not 100% sure on the dress.  They picked a dress from david's bridal which I thought didn't compliment my dress at all.  Their first choice was 81123.

These are the new dresses that I picked and its the final decision.  The color w/be a dark navy blue.  The dress is from Bill Levkoff.

    Much better than the first ones they picked!!! I love Bill Levkof. How did the bridesmaids take it when you told them you didn't like the other ones?

    Most like this even my mom who didn't like the first dress from David's B.

    The main bridesmaid (one that loved the first dress) is pretty quiet about my final decision on this dress.

    I am being so flexible.  I am paying the difference since the Bill Levkoff dress is out of their budget. (this will be my gift to them)

    I only ask because your one BM looks pissed.  Did you make sure that everyone was okay with these dresses before you made the final decision?  I mean, yes, they are wearing them for your wedding but they are your friends and family-don't you want them to look and feel good?

    While I feel the final choice is up to the bride I think it is only polite to make sure that each girl feels comfortable in the dress.  Uncomfortable and unhappy BMs will look that way in your photos.

    Paying for a dress that they don't want in the first place is not a "gift."

    My sister (the one on the pic) picked the dress and she's happy w/it.
    For some reason she was not smiling.  She is the maid of honor.
