Golf Club of Dublin

We are having our ceremony and reception at the Golf Club of Dublin. About a month ago we found out that they are filing for bankruptcy. We contacted them and were told that everything will go on as planned and we would not be affected. I was wondering if anyone has been told the same or differently? Thanks!

    I second getting everything in writing. We were looking at a place right before it went under. While we hadn't signed anything or paid money yet, I know several brides who had already booked and paid and were out everything, with no place to get married.

    Golf Club of Dublin filed for bankruptcy in June. My friend had her wedding there a week or so after it was in the news. The food and staff were great. If you are worried about the deposit ask if you can put it into an escrow account. That way if anything happens you can get your money back.
