NWR: Coming to Oahu

Hi Ladies. Greetings from a NH Knottie.DH and I will be traveling to Oahu for Christmas with his family this year. I have never been but he has been a few times. We will be staying in a condo on the North Shore. I really want to go snorkeling. And we plan on visiting the Polynesian Cultural Center. Was wondering if anyone could recommend the absolute best snorkeling spot. DH also found: http://www.dolphinexcursions.com/I have always wanted to swim with/see dolphins in the wild. Does anyone have experience with this company? Thanks so much!Happy Planning!

We only spent 2 days of our honeymoon on Oahu & we didn't get to do any snorkelling, but maybe the best food I have ever eaten was Alan Wongs in Honolulu.  It came well recommened by a few locals we met while there & it was amazing! Also I would definitely purchase Oahu Revealed by Andrew Doughty.  The Revealed books are life savers when travelling to any of the islands.Hope this helps!

We just got back from our anniversary trip in Hawaii. We stayed at a condo on the NS. I think Sharks COve is the best snorkeling spot on the NS and it's free!  It gets pretty crowded so you should get there early especially if you are going on a weekend. I didn't get to go snorkeling coz Aunt Flo arrived so I felt icky going in the water. DH did and he loved it. There are tons of fishes even in the shallow water. GL!
