HAWAII DW HELP!!??

Hey all! Originally we were thinking Jamaica (Sandals Negril) for our DW, but had someone mention Hawaii and the fact that our family wouldnt have to get passports...so that got us thinking! BUT, I cant find hardly ANYTHING as far as hotels that do weddings in Hawaii online.... for instance, Sandals negril has a basic wedding package included... the hotels I found want like THOUSANDS of dollars extra just for a wedding package.... Any knotties that have gotten married in Hawaii that can suggest something!? :)

    Which island were you thinking of?You might want to check out the HawaiiBrides bio.  In general, hotel weddings could be quite expensive on Hawaii.  But there are lots of other options available.

    Honestly, I dont know SQUAT about Hawaii, lol.  Where is this Hawaii Bio that you speak of? I need all the help I can get... Thanks!

    Pretty much every hotel in Hawaii offers wedding packages so it's surprising that you are having trouble finding info (our resort had packages that started around $500). Which island are you thinking? How many guests? What time of year? Do you have a ballpark budget? Answers to these questions will help everyone give you suggestions.The HawaiiFAQ bio is also a good resource.  FYI, the only thing you need to get married in Hawaii is a marriage license that costs about $60.

    this might feel like too much info, but here it is and explanation as well. HawaiiFAQ, HawaiiBrides, and HawaiiVendors are the names of 3 knot accounts that hawaii knotties started - just like your knot name and account is bultmannsbabe.  But in this case, people use the space provided to give info on planning a wedding in Hawaii. If you click above on the smiley face (the update bio icon), then click on "My friends" at the menu bar - top right, you can search for these "friends" by putting in the terms exactly as written above.  The "planning bios" of these knot accounts will have the info people above are talking about.
