Tell Me About Kauai, Please

Hello knotties. My fiance and I are going to Kauai in November to get married, we are so excited. I have never been to Kauai, and it will just be the two of of us. Does anyone have any suggestions of a wedding company to use that has a package ? We want photos of course, and just don't know who to go with. How about locations, all of Kauai is beautiful I have heard, how do we pick a location ? I have so many questions. so much I want to know.

    Hi! Congratulations on your engagement! We are planning to honeymoon in Kauai and I recently just asked kind of the same question....one of the Knotties (Kate) emailed me a ton of helpful advice and recommendations, I can forward it to you if you give me your email address! :)

    Hi Busta, I just went to Kauai for the first time a few weeks ago and it instantly became my favorite island.  It is so incredibly beautiful and you will have a lovely wedding.  One thing i'd keep in mind is that kauai is the rainiest place on earth, so if you have an outdoor wedding/reception be sure to have a back-up plan.  Best of luck planning.

    The HawaiiFAQ bio is a good one to look at, I believe there is also a KauaiBio (there's a link to get there from the HawaiiFAQ bio).  To get to the HawaiiFAQ bio, look under all of the posts to the search feature.  Enter in "HawaiiFAQ" in the space and click the arrow on the drop-down menu and select "Find Knottie/Nestie Bio".  Also, make sure you pick up the book Kauai Revealed by Andrew Doughty, it's the only guidebook you will need.  It not only lists nearly every activity/attraction on the island but also describes each area so you know what to expect in terms of weather/climate (there are several climates on each island), population, activities, etc.: wizardpub.comPlease note that the center of Kauai is the rainest spot on earth, NOT the entire island.  Every island also has a rainy side (or "windward" side) and dry side (or "leeward" side) including Kauai.Good luck!

    hi kauai ladies-definitely my favorite island-the kauai bio is a great resource-i think that i have some info-although pictures are ruined in my planning bio and you can happily e-mail me if you have any specific questions-w spent a lot of time over there alixg at world net dot att dot net put kauai knottie in the subject if you do happy planning
