Maui brides - Who is your DJ? Any recs?

Hi girls...I have yet to hire a DJ for my Oct. 25 weddding, so I kinda need to get on it.  My wedding coordinator recommended either Randy from Ace Beats, Ron from 007 Productions, or Jay from mobil DJ.  Have any of you hired any of these guys?  What are they like?  Easy to communicate with?  Good in front of a croud? Any general feedback or recommendations would be very much appreciated!!Thanks!Billie

I havent heard of those, but I am using Billy Arbour...havent met him, but my WC usually uses him. Im just going with it because it was a decent price and I am pretty much making the whole playlist ahead of time, so little room for error!! :)

Oh, I just noticed you were getting married like a week after me at Olowalu! :) Yay! Who is your WC?

We also used Billy Arbour. He did a good job, though, like Kelsey, we also gave him a pretty detailed list, so there was little room for problems! I liked him because while he did announce us when we came out, and made a few other short announcements, he didn't talk too much. I hate it when DJs go nuts and feel the need to try to drag people out to the dance floor.

I'm using Ron from 007 Productions and he comes highly recommended by my WC and I have heard great things about him from Knotties as well. I also plan on giving him a list of songs.

We used DJ Dan and he was very easy to work with.  We didn't provide him with a list ahead of time and I thought he did a great job. Reviews in my bio.

Randy was great. He was also our emcee.   He did a great job at reading the group and kept the dancefloor going.   We did not have a WC so he and the waiter keep things flowing.  I didn't worry about a thing.

We are also most likely using Billy Arbour for our wedding at the Seawatch.  THat is who they recommend.  Hope this helps.

Thanks for the tips, everyone.  I'm looking into all of these options!
