Are social networking sites (facebook, myspace, twitter) making things easier or harder on your wedding??

    I've used facebook to contact friends and ask for address's so that made things easier.  But the closer it gets to the wedding, the more people start to ask about the wedding, which makes me uncomfortable because the majority of people on my facebook are not invited to the wedding.  Yesterday I had private messaged my cousin to get her address.  She replies this morning on my public wall with her address (kinda dumb) and then says "so what do you need my address for, something special???"  SO now i feel like other people are going to be wondering if they're invited.

    i definitely hear ya on facebook making things harder! mostly because people think like "oh we're friends on facebook, I should be invited" but we hardly ever see each other in real life! If I had someone post something like that on my wall, I'd probably delete it. If they ask why,just say you're trying to protect their privacy or something!

    I unfriended the BF of a former roomie of mine because he was harassing us about the wedding and his lack of invite. Haven't spoken to the guy in 4 years, HATED him (raging alcoholic thief) for the year I did know him. Now my former roomie won't speak to me, but I don't have the energy to care anymore.Other than that, it's been good!

    I've "unfriended" a ton of people that I just don't talk to, and people get really offended by it! I'm sorry... if someone was mean to me in high school, I'm not going to be "friends" on facebook and let them see updates on my life... So yea, I agree. I think all those things are a waste of time and so not worth it.

    I was on facebook for about 2 weeks and decided this was a waste of my life and time.  Most of the people wanting to add me as friends, I really didn't like 20 years ago and had no desire to keep in touch with now.  Everybody posted lots of drama and personal stuff.....I really don't care if you just went to Target .......LOL.  I decided I had much better ways to spend my time so I cancelled it.  So no, it's not effecting my wedding at all LOL.
