hi ladies, who did/are you guys use/using for you DOC? price? thanks in advance!

KathE is GREAT!!!! She is amazing and even if you hire her for just DOC through email she will help you with everything for free.. you can ask her for suggestions or any questions.. she's helped me through the whole process... I think that for halekulani DOC she charges $1000. You can hire her also for everything (ie setting up vendors etc).. but i don't know how much she charges... Let her know Tya says HI if you contact her.. she's amazing... one of my two favoritest vendors so far and i haven't even gotten married yet!

hi tya, thanks!i did contact her and got a quote -- since tiff used her and i believe a few others (i remember reading great reviews about her).i was just curious as to what others are paying and if the quote she gave me was a competitive rate -- although she sounds super awesome and was very friendly and helpful in her email! i wanted to book her right away, but of course, FI was like 'lets see other prices, blah blah'hopefully we can book her though... will tell her hi next time i talk to her!thanks again!

I am using Sandra from Finishing Touch.  She is very responsive to emails and super organized.  I also contacted Parasol Events, but in the end we really liked Sandra.  GL!!

Hi there!Just like Tya, I have KathE as my DOC.  If all  you're looking for is a DOC, then I believe KathE has the most reasonable rates.  It was a toss up between her and Dianna! Dianna does offer a Lani Package though for those getting married there.  Have you checked out her website?

Her name is Dianna Shitanishi and her website: http://hawaiiweddingsandevents.com/wedding_services.htmShe's offering a Lani package for $1575.  Thought that was great...but really didn't wanna spend more than 1k for a wedding coordinator, so I went with KathE.  But I guess, the pricing really depends on the size of your guest list and the location.  We're only expecting approx. 40 people at Lani.  HTH!!

I had Kathe as my doc too for a thousand dollars I must say she was worth every penny! Loved her don't know how I wouldve got throgh the day and the final wk without her. Even though I only hired her as the doc I met with her four days before the wedding and she literally took over for the days leading up to the wedding she made sure every loose end was tied. I was so amazed whe she took over everything when I met with her.

CAI!  Sorry I couldn't get back to you sooner.  We interviewed probably 10 wedding coordinators and KathE was the most reasonable by a landslide.  I didn't interview Dianna though and she seems to be the next closest in terms of pricing/popularity.  We paid $1204.19 for DOC services at Lani, which is more expensive than her hotel rate.She's great though.  My only regret was not asking her to do more.  I didn't use her really at all for vendor recs and because I didn't need her in the beginning I wasn't really sure what I could ask of her in the end!  But she really came through with everything and we had a great time!!HTH!Tiff

sorry for the late reply, we also used Dianna from Hawaii Weddings and Events.   She was a little more but her level of experience was worth every penny of it and much more.  She also ended up saving us money in different areas and took care of buying or renting some of the little things we didn't feel like shipping.  Happy planning!
