*Waialua Soda Ladies*

Okay, so my caterer found the stash for me in Kula, after trying everywhere in Kahului. She was told by one of the people she tried to buy from that the company has gone out of business. Obviously, I'm getting this information second hand, but it might account for why it's so hard to find.

Hmm, that is weird because I called the number from their website last week and spoke to Jason who deals with their warehouse in Kahului and he said it would be no problem getting the sodas from them. He said the order just needs to be placed a couple of weeks beforehand and they could deliver the sodas to the wedding location. I hope something hasn't happened since then!!

Then it's probably okay! She was getting the info second hand too, so really, it was dubious at best! Can I ask about ordering directly through the company? How easy was it? Was it less expensive than ordering through the online companies they suggest?

Well my WC and caterer tried calling them and couldn't get anyone, but me being all the way on the east coast was able to get them on the phone, lol. There is both a number and email address on the website, but for you I would call since your date is so close. He seemed nice and the process seems pretty simple. A case of 24 is $35 (includes shipping to wedding location) and is $30 if you pick it up from the warehouse. The price isn't bad at all!

YUM! I actually tried one of these two weekends ago, we were at this place called POPS off Route 66, they sell hundreds of kinds of soda...I grabbed one of these because it looked Hawaiian. It was the Lilikoi flavor, and it was so good that I bought 3 of them! :) Nice to know they're really over there, so I can get some for the OOT bags if I want to!

Well, see, that's the problem. My caterer has a small stash, but it's not enough for the evening. I probably need another 12-24, I'd say.

I'm guessing the shipping charge is $5. I would definitely give them a call and have them deliver a case to you. I've never tried the sodas but I think they are so cute and unique. I'm 99% sure that most of my guests have never had it before. Andrea, its good to know the lilikoi is yummy! I'm using them as favors and they will also hold the escort cards (double whammy) and I have to decide on the flavors. I thought I would definitely go with the pineapple and mango, but I'll probably throw the lilikoi in as well.

My girlfriend said they are sold at walmart. Maybe you can just swing by and pick some up. Or if you know anyone there have them pick it up for you.
