Great but affordable caterers for north shore hawaii

Hello, My name is Shannon and i am having a hard time finding an affordable caterer for my outside wedding on oahu, and i find it outragous how much they charge for the staff. Does anyone have any suggestions of good caterers who are fairly priced on Oahu Hawaii??Thank you so much :-)!!

I am using Kahala Caterers. I have been very happy with them so far. My only complaint would be the same as yours, I think it is a little ridiculous how much they are charging for staff. But that seems to be normal. I have been working with Hilary and she has been very helpful with my thousands of questions!!

I'm not sure what caterers should be charging..but one of the options we were looking at was http://www.acateredexperience.com/It's the same company that make the ever-famous zippy's food, if you like that kind.

During our planning, we felt the same way.  Service/stafff fees were outragous. We ended  up going with Elite Catering, and we found their prices to be much more reasonable than others we contacted.  Their food costs were very similiar, but the service fees were much less for the same amoutnt of man power. We LOVED Elite.  The food was great and the service was excellent!  Not one bad thing to say about them.  I have more info and pics in my bio.http://www.elitecatering-hawaii.com/

We are using Poke Stop... it's really easy to find cheap good food in Hawaii but getting the staffing can be difficult.  Like Taniokas is delicous but can only really provide staff to help serve food, not to bus tables.  So depends how low key you are going - if you are having a small wedding and don't need a lot of servers, Taniokas or Highway Inn are reasonable.  We went with Poke Stop over those two because they could offer full service staff.
