I did my own invites and I spent $0.60 per invite =P including the RSVP cards. I got my supplies from Office Max, Staples, and Michael's and I used my HP LaserJet & Photosmart printers.

I got mine from invitationconsultants.com We chose the "Palm Royale" pattern, which I loved, and it was pretty inexpensive, too. Including envelopes and 2 inserts beside the actual invite, we spent somewhere between $300-$350 (I'd have to look up exactly) for 100 invitations.

I'm the DIY route and getting everything from Paper Source. They have a lot of templates on-line so it's really easy to create them. It's only costing $26.00 for me to do 25 invites myself, where as they charge $130.00.

I got most of my supplies from cards and pockets.  Came out to around $2.50 per invite before postage, but the basho paper added $0.80/invite.  I have more detail in my bio.

I DIY. I think the final cost was 1.10 or something like that including invite, inserts, and envelope. I bought my supplies from office max and papersource.com, printed everything on my hp printer.

I got my invites from target! Crazy enough...they had semi-pocket invites that matched the color of my dress. Light gold damask pattern shimmer paper.  It sounds kinda weird but I ended up loving them! $39.99 for 50! That's including an envelope and an RSVP card.  That comes up to approx. $.80 a piece.  We're actually using the "rsvp" card as an accomodation insert...and using vintage hawaiian island postcards for our RSVP.  Postcard postage is so much cheaper anyway! =)

I DIY'd mine myself.  I think mine came out to around $6/invitation (maybe $7???). I could have spent a lot less on them but mine were pretty intricate.  I had pocketfolds with 3 inserts and cardstock backings and the awesome basho paper.  I got most of my supplies from Envelopper Inc.  Basho paper from Hiromi Paper.I mainly DIY'd them 'cause I couldn't find any invitations that had everything I wanted.

Ours were DIY boxed invites although I got letterpress printing from Paper Source. I spent a lot even though it was DIY due mostly to the letterpress printing. I don't remember exactly how much and certainly not how much per invite. I have a complete list of suppies and photos in my planning bio (MaunaLaniBride).

I wanted to DIY - but my mom talked me out of it, and now I am sooo sad!!  The invitations look incredible - but I think I could have done just as good of a job.  In fact, I know I could have.  We are doing the boarding pass invites.  I sent the invitation person a complete layout/design of what I wanted, and she literally copied it exactly.  Which is fine, because I know that is what I wanted, but it would have been so much cheaper to DIY.  SOOO... I applaud all of you who are DIY.  I think that is the way to go!!

    1.  We semi- DIY with design help from Slieberry Designs.  We had metallic pocketfolds and boarding passes.2.  We spent around $6 an invite, but a lot of was attributed to the cost of overnight shipping from our designer because we were cutting close to our RSVP deadline.3.  Pocketfolds were from Cards and Pockets.  Envelopes and paper from Paper Source.
