Jewelry Help

So I found some gorgeous blue Swavorski crystal earrings this weekend that I want to wear with my wedding dress (my color scheme/theme is peacock colors - blues and greens). The only problem is that I don't know what type of necklace I should wear with it. The earrings have a matching necklace but the chain is a rope - rather than an actual metal - and I think that's a little more casual than I want. Any suggestions??? You ladies are much more stylish than I am so I am looking to you for help. My dress is very simple so I want to have fun with the accessories. I am thinking about wearing a birdcage veil. For my hair, I am thinking about going with an up-do but I may do half up/half down. That's still in the air... This is the link for the earrings - where you can see the matching necklace:http://tinyurl.com/nlvodjThis is the link for my dress... unfortunately there isn't a direct link to the dress but if you look at style "2218", that's it:http://www.exclusivebyallure.com/collection.html

YAY, we finally get to see your dress, Cristin!! It's simple and beautiful!! You're going to look so great in that dress. I love the earrings - they are a great piercing blue. hmm, how about the "P necklace" on the Swavorski site? I like the necklace that goes with your earrings... you could definitely buy a silver chain, and loop it through the stone in a similar way that the rope is if you wanted to do that.I think a necklace with blue and green stones is a great idea too! Probably the necklace above is more my style.I'm going to look around on the web when I get a chance.I'm so excited for you!

Love the dress!! I love the peacock theme. So dramatic. I think the earrings will look great with the dress. It gives it a nice pop of color. I like the necklace that Jen suggested or a blue/green jeweled necklace that's more subtle. I think the matching necklace looks kind of bulky for a wedding dress, but the earrings are definitely gorgeous.

First of all.... I love your dress! It's so pretty and feminine! (Loving the assymetrical lines)Some people will say that with that type of neckline on your dress, you could probably get away with not wearing a necklace. (I, personally, would would and did wear one) That being said, how much fun do you want to have with your necklace? Do you like drop pendants? If so, I would go ahead and do what Jen suggested and buy a really pretty chain and put the pendant through it. You could even knot it through the opening like so: http://tinyurl.com/ngzzy7If you want something a little more formal and glamorous, I like those necklaces that stay close to the collar bone; kind of like the one Jen posted. I also kind of like this style but not as big & with white gold or silver to match your earrings:There's also a gem out there that has the blues & greens in them already. I wanna say it's called the aurora borealis gem??? Although as I'm typing it, it somehow doesn't sound right??? (Hahaha!) If you haven't already bought the earrings maybe you could look into them. Here's a pic of the gem colors:It's not a bold as those gorgeous blue earring you found but it's just another option/idea to tie in with your peacock theme. If you found a really cool & pretty earring/necklace set, that might be a fun way to play up with your accessories. Have you thought about adding a peacock feather into your hairpiece/birdcage veil?Something like this but with a birdcage veil:Or these:

Ugh! I really hate the formatting on the knot! Sorry!
