Future Olowalu or Maui or Lori Lawrence Brides

Hi ladies!  The board is so active today, I love it!I wanted to throw an idea out there that I've been thinking about.  I love weddings signs like these, but don't know what I'd do with them after my wedding.I was wondering if a group of y'all would be interested in sharing these--who knows, they could even turn into a great tradition like the Mahalo parasols!  We could pool some $ together and keep a wedding calendar of who gets them when.  And we can vote on different styles, colors, whatever, to decide the most compatible set of signs.I'm getting married at Olowalu, Lori Lawrence is my coordinator, so I thought that could be the similar tie--maybe we could have Lori hold on to them for us if you also have Lori as a coordinator, or we could figure something else out.Thoughts?  Ideas?  Random comments?

Love this idea, and such a great item to share.  Since really what would we do with these after.  I have Lori and am getting married at Sugarman in Sept 2010.  I think if we stick to the old fashion feel you've shown above in your pictures those would be the most compatable with everyones decor.  I'm in!!  Thanks for the great idea!!

Count me in!!! I was going to buy the cocktails/reception/wedding signs anyways from Etsy, in the vintage looking white like those first ones! I'll probably order my own Mr. and Mrs. sign so I can keep those after the wedding though.

Well, I am getting married the soonest, I think (October 25), and my aunt and cousin just ordered me a custom "Billie and Aaron's wedding " sign from thebackporchshoppe on etsy.  They are also ordering the "Bride and Groom" chair signs, so I am all set on those. I would, however, be interested in potentially (gotta check the budget first to be sure) pitching in to get the other ones... reception, cocktails, etc. if the price is right. Just keep me posted...Billie

Hey Liz, I would be totally down on going in on these with you. Just let me know what you think. I, too, absolutely love these but don't feel like spending that amount on something I'll only use for one day. Great idea!

Hi.  I think I am a bit late for this post, but I am using Lori and getting married at Haiku Mill in May 2010.  I totally love the signs and would love to be part of sharing.  Maybe we can share other items too such as vases and baskets.  It is expensive to ship to Maui and that is a great idea to share something that you don't want to bring back home.
