Help with Hawaiian music?

I am hoping some of you can give me some leads on some good Hawaiian music.  My FI and I have a long weekend of activities planned for all of our guests - a welcome reception, rehearsal dinner (for everyone), the wedding (but i am working on music for that separately) and a day-after brunch.  So needless to say, I need to be ready with lots of background tunes for these events, especially the welcome reception and rehearsal dinner. So, do any of you have any good Hawaiian CD's or musicians you would highly recommend?  I need to start making some playlists, and it would be helpful if given a bit of direction before I just start googling stuff. TIA!

You know what helped me was Pandora!!  Just go to Pandora.com (its a free radio station).  You select your station by putting in an artist, and then it just plays similar songs.  So I started by putting in Isreal Kamakawiwo'ole and it gave me TONS of ideas!!  I'm also a big fan of Jack Johnson and Bob Marley to add to the mix!!

Yeah, IZ is great...and Pandora is a great idea!! Also, I feel like Jason Mraz has an island feel to is as does Ben Kweller. I am interested to see what this thread brings!

Here are some local favorites that you can look up and decide based on your taste! The Brothers Cazimero Keali'i Reichel Kapena Cecilio and Kapono Katchafire Ooklah the Moc Ho'okoa John Cruz Kawao Ziggy Marley 3Plus I think that's a pretty good mix of contemporary and classic types! Some it may sound cheesy-ish when you first hear it, but it totally fits there! (think electric keyboard, haha). I also agree with the Jason Mraz, Jack Johnson, laidback 311 and Bob Marley recommendations!

Also try Jack Johnson.Do you have the Lilo and Stitch CDs?  I think those CDs have some Hawaiian-ish songs on them.

i L-O-V-E the Lilo & Stitch soundtrack. I think the kids from Kamehameha School sing on it!! The song I'm thinking of may not be all that wedding-ish, but very fun!! Sorry for the diversion!!
