I went to running of the brides and....

I found a dress!!!! The whole experience was so amazing. I had so much fun and even if I hadn't gotten a dress I had such a fun time! I got a beautiful dress! Anne Barge, retailed at $7500 and got it for $750!!! I'm not sure if it's right for the beach casual setting though. I bought it cause I knew I could sell it on consignment if I didn't go with it. I can't find the picture on the internet.. it must be from a few seasons back. But I found this: http://www.flare.com/images/bridal/apr09/AnneBarge1.jpg It's pretty much the same lace.. same cut.. but the neck line is spaghetti straps. Is it way too fancy for a beach wedding??

Congatulations on finding your dress!! It's gorgeous!! What a deal too!! Did you start out early in the morning "running" with the rest of the brides? Pictures?? Would love to see what it looks like on you and what the store looked like when you were shopping. There was a "running of the brides" here in Atlanta back in March. I got there late in the afternoon so I didn't see the madness in the morning.

I have one picture of Facebook but it's not of me in the dress. I'm going to see my FMIL tonight and show her. I'll take more photos. It was madness, but SOOOOOOO much fun. People thought I was crazy but the adrenaline was so great. It's my kind of shopping. (I hate shopping). I felt like I earned the dress! I tried it on and bought it immediately.

Thanks ladies! I think it's beautiful too! The lace is gorgeous, the thing is it has a bunch of beading that has a lot of reflection. .. I'll take pictures soon so I can show you.

Gorgeous.  Perfect.  Not too fancy for a beach wedding at all!  I think because it's not enormous it still has a bit of a casual feel.  I love the lace!

that's perfect for a beach wedding!!!  I was at the sale too and got a dress.  Mine's a little fancier than I would have bought, too, but I love it.  I agree, its the best way to shop for a dress.  I totally like my dress even more b/c of how I bought it (and its much cheaper that I would have spentotherwise, so bonus)  I had so much fun there and now my mom and I have a great story and a great dress.
