How do you invite your minster to the reception?

So what I've heard is that one should invite their minster (the one performing the ceremony) to the reception.  What is the best way to do this?  I don't send a regular wedding invite, right?  I mean, he already knows about the wedding because he'll be performing it!  Do I send another note?  Do I expect him to come just for cocktails or do you think he'll come for the full dinner?  Help!

I just sent a regular invitation, just like with everyone else!

I sent a regular invite, but our minister was also my aunt, so she would have gotten one marrying us or not. If it hadn't been her, I would have still sent a regular invitation (and also an invite to the RD).

Send a regular invite. How it is addressed will also let him know if he is allowed to bring his spouse or assistant.
