Need help with Save the Date....

OK, so I don't know if I can articulate this correctly but I am going to try... I really want to do our STD pictures in a cuban/havana style (the vintage pics that are kind of blurry.. you know, the ones that show a guy with a hat on rolling cigars) I think it would be super cute to do a postcard with FI (me in a hat, us with drinks/cigars, SUPER celebratory) Can anyone help me articulate what I am trying to envision or have any ideas for what I described as far as DIY techniques? If you need more clarification, let me know... Any response or ideas are welcomed...

You could try taking the picture like you mentioned and then mess with the picture in photo shop or even microsoft picture viewer has some cool things you can do to pics. I would ge tthe picture done first then mess with it in photoshop or whatever program comes on your computer (I can help you with this if you find a sample of what you are talking about, I can see if there is an option like that to do to your picture) then just send me the sample and your pic and I'll try some techniques. once all that is done you can create a background using the picture in Microsoft publisher and type right on top of it using text boxes and such. Does that help at all???

WOW! Yes, that helps so much! Hopefully we can get some pictures to use pretty soon- I want to get the STD sent by the end of October. That would be wonderful if you could help me in any way as far as the photoshop part; so so nice of you:) I will let you know and hopefully have some pics to play with soon. Thanks Again!
