vs regular tealights? Yes. The regular ones definitely won't stay lit. What else are you doing for lighting? We had the yard flooded with a pinkish light and it was freaking GORGEOUS. So much more flattering than a white or yellow light.

Darn, I had a feeling that was the case!  We're having the lanterns, and I was considering like a sunset orange uplighting, so since you said the extra lighting was nice, then for sure we'll do that.  Those flameless lights are so expensive--too bad.  But thank you!  I've been wondering, so it's nice not to wonder anymore!

They are pricey - I'll throw out that I didn't miss not having them either - they don't really illuminate very well... at least not the ones I've seen.

It's something to think about anyway! I was really worried about not having candles, but between the flood lighting and the lanterns, it was perfect.Ooh! They also put spotlights on the ocean, and it looked SO cool at night. Everyone thought it was the neatest thing ever. I'm now convinced that lighting sets the tone way more than flowers do. Best 1000$ I spent, and I was convinced it would be a waste of money.

Spotlights on the ocean?  That sounds lovely!  Great idea, I'm so glad you sold me that, I totally want to do it!
