Wedding Dress Story...

I use to live in the Bay Area and moved back to my home town in Texas a couple of years back.  I went to a couple of local bridal stores in Texas and in Louisiana but didn't find anything that WOWed me.  So this past weekend, while visiting friends and family in SF and I also made plans to go dress shopping.  A family friend suggested a great place in South SF called Nelly's Bridal. So we went dress shopping on Saturday with my aunt and two bridesmaids and *drum roll* found a dress.  Actually my aunt, who I shopped with all the time when I lived in the Bay Area, found it.  It's so beautiful and I felt beautiful wearing it.  I thought that I would cry like many other knotties after finding "the ONE".  Instead I had a huge smile across my face but still skeptical.  The real moment came when one of the ladies at the boutique improvised by clipping a boutonniere with fake flowers in my hair.  I saw myself in the mirror and thought "THIS IS IT!"  Granted it was a rough, put together look, but I can totally see myself in this dress, with my hair up, and flower instead of veil.BTW, this dress was everything that I didn't want at first: satin, long train, and beading. Oh now I've changed my mind. LOL!I can tell you all that it's a Casa Blanca Bridal gown, style #1658.  Here's the link, I haven't mastered PIP yet. http://tinyurl.com/oq62r2I am very happy and relieved that this part is over.Ally
