I wasn't going to go....FI talked me out of it, so I woke up yesterday morning and got ready for work. Then I checked the responses to my "dress regret" post right before I left the house and decided to go after all! I'm sooo glad I did! You were all right...I was able to get it out of my system and feel so much better about my dress! I tried on gown after gown, and didn't really find anything I liked better than mine (except one, but it's wayyy out of my price range, wasn't on the sale rack!) The sample sale was amazing....tons of gowns were my size! I was able to purchase a cute white lacey cocktail dress for the rehearsal dinner for $25, a pink bubble skirt dress with net material for our engagement shoot for $25 and a 2nd wedding dress for our TTD session marked down from $1,400 to $199!!!It was SO WORTH the 7 hour car drive. And now...I need to avoid dress shops at all costs. Thanks for your advice girls, and here is the TTD dress! (It's hard taking pictures of yourself in the mirror! I look angry...) AAAND here is the one I love but can't afford (and wasn't even close to my size, haha!)
