Eye cream recs?

So, as I was switching over to my liquid foundation this weekend (I wear powder in the summer), I noticed that I now have a lot more lines under my eyes. Now, I know that I can't stop the wrinkles from coming, but I'd like to keep them to a minimum, you know? Anyone have any good eye creams they use? Or techniques to help keep that delicate skin in shape? Also - is there some way of dealing with the creases so that make-up doesn't cake and settle into them?

Hi Kaesha, always always use a primer under your make-up...i use the oil free version from Smashbox...i think make-up forever also has one...for eye cream i like kiehls or juice beauty.  J. :-)

Hm. Is eye cream one of those things that's just a waste of money?I do use a make-up primer, but maybe I need to switch to a different one. I have the sephora brand one and the bare escentuals one.

For awhile, I use La Mer moisturizer on my face as well as my eyes.  Since I past the 31 mark, I feel like I needed a supplement for my eyes so I've tried Clinque All About Eyes, which is just okay.  Currently, I'm using the Kiehls Abyssine Eye Cream.  It's working as a supplement to La Mer.

Oh eye cream is A MUST! It will help you now and later in life :) it helps makeup go on smoothly and takes care of the most delicate skin on your body! I am religious about eye cream, morning and night. I have tired a lot, but I have stuck with Clinique All About Eyes. Its light enough to not make your makeup cakey on top but also has great benefits like reducing under eye circles, helping lines, etc. It's not the cheapest but it average with all the good ones. You can get it at Sephora!

Oh and one more piece of advice...to help the makeup not settle in the creases under your eyes, dust them with a light finishing powder (or you can use your face powder too if you want). Basically you take a little brush (like a crease brush used for shadow) and dip in into the powder and tap off the excess powder (you dont want too much on the brush), then lightly brush it under your eyes. The powder sets the make up to help it not crease :)
