NWR: Anyone watching Glee?

It's very quickly become my new favourite show... and very close to what the relationships are like in many a staff room!

I have watched the last 2 episodes & it is pretty interesting.  I was surprised how sexual it was (at least the "Push It" routine), but then again, it is by the same guy how does Nip Tuck so I guess I shouldn't be too surprised.I heard Ryan Murphy's interview on NPR/Fresh Air the other night & they asked him if he broke out singing like the kids in Glee, what would his song be?  He said Barabra Steisand's "Don't Rain On My Parade" which had me giggling.

Ha! Awesome. You know, I think that routine was hilarious. I KNOW some kids I teach would try and pull that kind of thing.

I LOVE Glee!  It's has definitely become one of my favorites!  I love all the song "productions" they have in the show!  And the girl who plays Rachel!!!  She's got an amazing voice!  I can't believe they plucked her off Broadway!

I watch it too! As a former teacher i just think it is hilarious, because I pick out the characters on glee and match them up to people I used to work with!!! Love it!

I heart Glee so much.  It's my favorite show now, edging out Big Bang Theory (I love love love Jim Parsons and he was robbed at the Emmys!!)I'm so happy it's going to be on tonight.  I was utterly disconsolate when the first episode accidently deleted from our DVR.  I've watched Rachel singing the Rihanna song at the end of Ep 2 at least 6 times.  A couple of days ago I finally stopped having that Rihanna song  stuck in my head ... I had it stuck in my head for DAYS.... it was in my head when I tried to sleep, etc...I love watching the songs over again!  But not the pep rally one.  From the first episode: the Rehab song by the rival high school, and Don't Stop Believin'.Second episode - the Kanye song - (it's Kanye right?) and the Rihanna song.  I loved when the teacher rapped! That's so awesome that your staff room is sort of like that!Btw, I've been meaning to ask you, how's the new school and the new kids?  Do you like those middle schoolers?

Haha Jen!  I do the same thing!  I've watched the songs from the episodes numerous times... especially the Rihanna song that Rachel sings!  Isn't she awesome?  She originated the lead on Spring Awakening and I truly can't believe that the producers were able to get her for this lead.  MH was disappointed that she didn't sing in last week's episode (heeheehee!  He's just as much of a glee fan as I am!)  Can't wait for tongiht's episode!

I love Glee! I heard on the news yesterday that since over 800,000 downloads of that Journey song done by the Glee kids were sold on iTunes, the show is planning on 5 confirmed soundtrack albums. The cast is also supposedly going on tour next summer :)

I watch in on Hulu or Fox. Im never home when it actually plays real time.@ Jujubee96- I LOVE LOVE LOVE Jim Parsons. He is my favorite character on Big Bang Theory. I love him so much, he acts exactly like my FI, well...not the whole "my seat" thing, but they are both super smart!

@aliblu - yeah, I just love that show so much, and he is why.  MH is always reading about shows and their development/etc. b/c of this personal interest --- so he tells me the Johnny Galecki character was supposed to be the star in the beginning... the show was not that funny or successful in the beginning, but once the producers saw how JP was, they decided to get on that train and really showcase him more.  He is just so talented with all those lines and his nuances!SPOILERS FROM LAST NIGHT ALERT:Glee - I was a little disappointed that there was no big production number, and I wished they showed more of Rachel (?) singing that Celine Dion song - I didn't even know I could like Celine Dion songs until she sang that one - it was so amazing!!And I really loved the part when the football boy started crying on the teacher's shoulder, that was so affecting!  Of course the football dance scene was priceless!!!  And I heart the cutie patootie gay boy from the beginning scene SO much --- that was awesome!

I'm a gleek!! I love Glee, it's so awesome. I bought the shirt "I'm a gleek" and I wore it to work one day. My boss asked what a gleek was and I asked if he was ever in choir. He said he was never in choir, so I told him then he wouldn't understand. lol.
