Favors

I am just wondering what everyone is doing for favors. I would really like to do something creative - but have absolutely no creative juices running through my mind!! Ideas???

i used to work for a tea company in Honolulu and I'm still great friends with my boss. I'm thinking of asking him if he will donate the favors to us if I do all the packaging myself! I think some tropical teas will be a really nice favor for our guests... plus we're having a photobooth so the guests can take their pictures home as a favor too!

We weren't planning on giving favors since we were already giving them a beach bag (with our name & wedding date in the corner) full of stuff as a welcome gift but then at the last minute I decided I wanted to give them these filled with white & orange tic-tac:Another creative (and green!) option are to give those "plantable" cards that they can take home and put in soil; that way when the flowers bloom every year they'll be reminded of your wedding!

We're making mix CDs for our favors. Some of our fav songs from our time together :)

We actually nixed the favours - we noticed at all of the weddings we've been to recently that they just get left behind (although how people would leave behind the Honolulu Cookie Company stuff... I don't know!). As we did the OOT bag thing (and spent like 15-20$ per bag), we figured no one would miss it.But, if I was going back to my original plan it would be the chocolate dipped coconut brownies from Big Island Candies. DROOL!

We are not doing favors. We have paper fans on each seat and starfish place cards...so I kind of felt like that was enough "treats" that people would have fun with. We are not doing OOT bags either, but have cute 'schedule of events' packet that I printed out with our invitation font and tied with raffia ribbon (I love it). So its a cute detail guests will appreciate. But we just could not tack on OOT bags to the bill :) I think its cool to do whatever you want...some guests will remember, some won't! If I had all the money in the world I would have done those cute Hawaiian candy bars, the Hololulu cookie co and definitely those AMAZING boxes that are made of palm tree leaves (ha, sorry, I don't actually know the real name of any of those things!) :)

For favours I bought those cute Kate Spade luggage tags at Micheals.  Even though i'm far off i bought them just in case they are not available in 2 years...hopefully we don't have more people attending our wedding than i bought favours for so i may purchase a few more just to be on the safe side...if i end up with too many i can just give them away to people who are not able to attend our wedding.  We may also do a slow jam CD.  If the budget permits i really want to do engagements photos a couple of days before the wedding and maybe we could use one of those photos as a cover...just hope we have enough time to get the cover printed. J. :-)

We are not doing favors just OOT bags, plus after the wedding party and our parents, there aren't many peopl left who are coming, so our parents and BP will already be getting gifts!
