I'm a terrible person

who still hasn't sent out all her thank you cards. Bad, bad knottie. =(I've been waiting to get photo cards, but I keep thinking they're just going to go in the garbage. That is what's going to happen, right? I should just use the cards I have and leave it at that, right?

I personally like photo cards.  My friends that made photo cards all ended up on my fridge - some are still there =)  Plus, you get to share Joanna's wonderful work! As far as timeliness, I had a friend take a year to get out all her invites (because she thought ...someone... had already sent them).  The recipients thought it was a nice reminder to get the thank you card on their anniversary.  We all thought that was pretty funny - but I wouldn't recommend taking THAT long.

Hm.  I actually really want to do photo cards myself for this - especially for the people who gave presents, but couldn't be there at the wedding.  I say this b/c my cousin and his wife did one for their thank you (which I couldn't attend) and I loved it and put it on the fridge for a while. So, if you're gonna get them in the next week or two, I'd wait for them.  Otherwise, maybe go with what you have.

Hmm..... I keep thinking the same thing.  Are the photo TY cards worth it?  I'm sure most will end up in the trash; though we do know plenty who would keep them.  The thing with us is that we got gifts from ppl who didn't come to the wedding and they would like to see some photos.  I'm a bad knotttie too.  We hit our 3-month mark last week but we're still waiting for our photos from Frank.  (but we did send out the TY cards for the gifts we got before the wedding!)  Now I feel like we have to get the photo cards so we can justify the late-ness of them!  Haha!Sorry... no help here.... I'm in the same boat...

I like photo cards too. I think it's personable and multi-purpose! I think it's a nice extra step.

Haha, most of your guests probably won't start to wonder for a few more months...I think you should wait and get the photo cards, they seem a lot more personal and are great for keepsakes and fridge decoration!

I really really love photo cards and i usually keep the ones I receive for quite awhile if not forever.  And I agree you need to show off Joanna's work.  I still haven't gotten a thank you cards for June's weddings so I think you are still ok
