The death of me... Bridesmaid Dress

Ok ladies,If anyone is going to understand this it is going to be you all. I figured the hardest part of the this wedding was it was a destination wedding and doing everything from long distance. Man was I WRONG, I found and feel in love with my dress, just in time it was being discontinued! But I have only one bridesmaid and finding her dress is KILLING ME!! I have searched for hours on the internet trying to find the right one for a desent price. I am asking her to go all the way to Hawaii. Anyways I am down to it I can't take it anymore. I am going with her tomorrow to try and figure out what to do. I am looking for a Tea length green dress possibly strapless. I figured that it wasn't that hard to find but man was I wrong. It has to be a specific color green like a bright green kinda the color of a lime the fruit how dark it is really. I am finding moss and bright neon green but I CAN"T find what I am really looking for man is it fustrating!! I have been to some of the websites that you ladies have given to others and the only thing that I have found so far is something on fashionjunkiee.com that I would have to shorten. Does anyone have any other suggestions?! I am desperate and tired of doing this find the dress thing!! Thank you, for listening and any imput you may have!! Happy Friday!!! Jenny

Do you have a picture of the color you are looking for?  A swatch or a piece of ribbon or something?  I'm bridesmaid dress searching too, so I can keep an eye out...

Hm, have you tried Victoria's Secret or JCrew? Although, I'm not sure about the type of green you're talking about--I think it would help if you PIPed or linked the dress you found on fashionjunkiee so we can find something of the same color =)

Since you only have one BM you may also consider having her dress made. It's not always more expensive than buying. You could find a pattern at JoAnn or a local fabric store and pick a fabric that is exactly what you want.

maybe you can put an ad out on craiglist or something asking for a seamstress - or just yellow pages (search words tailor, dressmaker) and get the exact fabric you want, and him/her make it.  If you do this, make sure you ask them to see some samples of their work. I hope you find the dress you want!  I totally understand wanting a certain color to match with you color scheme.

simplicity.com has tons of patterns - even some from Project Runway. They cost about $10. Hope that helps!
