I tried posting earlier and everything got erased. I had a mgical wedding trip and 3 weeks on the Islands did my spirit well.I have so many things to catch up on. I will start updating my bio as much as possible so people can read vendor reviews. I know there are not many Big Island Brides here. My photographer does travel to other Islands and I can not tell you in words how amazing he truly is.
www.jamesrubiophotography.comIn Kauai I recommend: Hanalei Day Spa- couples massage on beach. My absolute favorite Eats were Roy's Poipu, but you should do pupus to sample every thing. Eastside, Bar Acuda and Hamura's Saimin hands down.Poipu- Roy's of course.( we did pupus all the way +pineapple upside down cake with vanilla bean ice cream) Kapaa-The Eastside does not open until 5:30 and even though we were starving we waited and it was so worth it. You can see pics of my food on FB.Kountry Kitchen- Breakfast is great! I had two over emd eggs over rice with bacon and corn bread. The corn bread is really good. They are known for there macadamia nut pancakes and coconut syrup.Harley's Tropical BBQ- Good for a quick eat with good flavor. I had the BBBQ Beef plate with rice and salad for like 7.99 It was good quality food and it hit the spot.Hanalei- Bar Acuda has great wine and Tapas in Hanalei. The local honeycomb dish @ bar Acuda served with warm goat cheese and apples ooohhh wow!Tahiti Nui -Great food, great Mai Tai's and local entertainment. I wanted to go back for seconds. The Dolphin- We had local salad w/ homemade dressings + lots of Sashimi.Lihue- Hamura's Saimin is ridiculous (in a good way) Malasada stand in front of K-mart is pretty fantastic. If I think of more I will post. I loved our stay with The Westin in Princeville.
